Iso-gel is a supportive animal feed supplement for cats and dogs with digestive problems. Iso-gel is almost completely based on Ipaghula from the seeds of the Plantago Ovata. After ingestion, the iso-gel is not absorbed in the intestines, but it binds water to itself. This creates a slimy layer in the intestines that improves the mobility of its contents. This property allows isogel to be used for both thin and thick stools, but also for hairballs or recovery periods after bowel problems.
